so.... Lisa is married and now on her honeymoon which means my days at the house are numbered. like very numbered. lol. i have two more sleeps and then i plan to be out of here. today i packed most of the rest of my room with some help from ange and tomorrow i need to get the kitchen done up. i'm feeling very numb about the whole things. surreal. like its not happening and its not real. i don't think its gonna hit me till i'm on the plane watching canada leave my sight and then perhaps i will feel it.
meanwhile i'm living with awesome friends starting on wednesday. i will be with them till i leave nanaimo on the 20th after church. i have exactly 11 shifts left with my job and i need probably $1000 more dollars to make it over there while i'm gone. i've gotten some amazing donations from people. and God has been so very good to me, but financially its still a bit of a struggle. however, God's hand is in this and i'm trusting in Him totally to take care of me. God is bigger than all my finacial worry.
the other concern is that my volunteer visa still hasn't arrived. that is totally another thing that God is so much bigger than and i'm trusting in that to be here soon. i've spoken with the embassy a few times and they have told me that it seems to be in order and is in the final stages of checking. Lord willing its in the mail!!!!
